Black Widow: Origins

A Marvel Comics Fan Film

Independently funded and produced, “Black Widow: Origins” is a short fan film about Natasha Romanov (Black Widow) during her first years working as an Assassin for the KGB in St. Petersburg. When her actions catch the attention of S.H.I.E.L.D, it is up to a newly promoted Agent Clint Barton (Hawkeye) to take her down. Black Widow: Origins is a character driven short film with a more realistic and darker tone than some of the more colorful characters in Marvel’s roster.

Featuring talented writer/producer Allison Powell (Star Wars: Unknown, Mad Chix: Feminist Road) as Black Widow, and Mark Whitten (Adventures with Tip & Oh, Street Fighter 5, Star Fox Zero) as Hawkeye, Black Widow: Origins brings together some of the best independent talent in Los Angeles to create a film worthy of every Marvel fan’s attention.
